This news will come as a celebration of a great player, Osaze Odemwingie who played for the Nigerian Super Eagles, West Bromwich Albion, Cardiff City and Stoke City.

Osaze Odemwingie made his international career with Super Eagles in 2002, scored ten (10) goals for the national team but his last was in 2014, which gave the Super Eagles their first win at the World Cup since the 1998 edition.

Odemwingie made the announcement at the UEFA #EqualGame Conference at Wembley.

Now that he has hung up his boots, Odemwingie has plans to go into coaching. In his own words:

“The next chapter is slowly building up to a coaching career, and hopefully I will be coaching in the Premier League one day.”
