Tennis: Novak Djokovic Will Miss Out in 2017 Over Elbow Injury

“My elbow is hurt due to excessive playing, and it troubles me constantly when serving, and now when playing forehand as well.”   Novak Djokovic personally opened up his decision to miss out the whole 2017 sporting activities due to an elbow injury.

The world No 4 will be forced to skip the upcoming US Open, the first time he has missed a Grand Slam since making his debut at the 2005 Australian Open.

Djokovic’s announcement comes on his official website exactly a year to the day since Roger Federer called an end to his 2016 season.

He confirmed that new coach, Andre Agassi, “supports” his decision and will stay alongside him next year.
