Fifa has received an appeal by Argentina forward Lionel Messi, protesting his four-match international ban for insulting a match official.
Messi did not travel to FIFA headquarters in Zurich for the hearing but Spanish media said he would make his defense in a video conference call. Messi has already missed one World Cup qualifier, to Bolivia, and will also sit games against, Uruguay, Venezuela and Peru if the ban remains in place.Do you ever witness anything interesting or exciting?
