Why Goodie Ibru was declared wanted by EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared businessman, Goodie Minabo Ibru wanted.

According to the anti-graft agency, Mr. Ibru was declared wanted in connection with a case of “conspiracy, capital market fraud, stealing, diversion of funds, and money laundering”.

The statement reads, “The public is hereby notified that Goodie Minabo Ibru, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with a case of conspiracy, capital market fraud, stealing, diversion of funds and money laundering.

“He allegedly diverted billions of naira and assets of Ikeja Hotels Plc, owners of Sheraton Hotel, Lagos, Federal Palace Hotel, owners of Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, to his personal benefit.”
